No law forbids anyone from rendering a paid service by treating clients out of their own free will with resonance waves. However, to ensure uniformity in treatments, some health practitioners formed the South African Resonance Therapy Association (SARTA) in 2000.
The South African Resonance Therapy Association (SARTA) is a legal entity registered with the South African Registrar of Companies.
Its primary purpose is to educate and train its members in the application of resonance therapy devices and health analysis instruments. Its secondary purpose is to promote and advance resonance therapy and the accompanying healthy lifestyle.
Resonance Therapists apply the healing principles championed by Dr. Royal Raymond Rife, a cancer researcher who discovered that resonance waves can actually destroy cancer, viruses, and harmful bacteria.
The history of Dr. Rife and his discoveries are explained in the medical nonfiction bestseller "The Cancer Cure That Worked" by Barry Lynes, a medical journalist.
Although a few medical practitioners began to experiment in 1997 with medical resonance wave generators, it was only from 1999 when a few health practitioners began to embrace resonance therapy as a primary healing method to treat cancer, ME, diabetes, Aids, sinusitis and other chronic diseases.
Some of these therapists came together in April 2000 to establish an organisation to promote and establish Rife therapy as a credible natural healing method.
A SARTA member has to abide by a Code of Ethics.
